Open every day except January 1.

On the day of your purchase, please take the receipt for the goods purchased at Daimaru Kyoto store on the same day and your passport to the Consumption Tax Exemption Corner of the Customers' Salon on the 8th floor. Please note that consumption tax cannot be refunded on consumable goods such as foods, cigarettes, cosmetics, films, dry batteries and medicines and goods totaling 10,000 yen or less, tax excluded.

U.S. dollars and travelers' checks denominated in U.S. dollars may be exchanged for Japanese yen at the Gift Certificates Shop on the 7th floor. This service is available only to non-Japanese travelers. Your passport is required.
